Product Description
NOMEX Type 411 is the lower density and uncalendered precursor of NOMEX 410. It is available in five thicknesses from 0.13mm (5mil) to 0.58mm ( 23 mil). It has lower electrical and mechanical properties and offers increased impregnability and saturability when compared to NOMEX 410, which allow it more suitable for use in cast resin applications as turn and layer insulation. Nomex 411 is widely used in applications such as motor phase insulation, transformer coil end filler, cable&wire wrapping, lighting ballasts insulation,etc

Applicatiion
Exceptional thermal stability,outstanding mechanical toughness and inherent dielectric strength, the Nomex Paper series are ideally used as a high temperature electrical insulation materials in various industry manufacturing. Nomex 411 can be used as slot insulation in hand wound motors, linear wrapping of wire, sheet insulation in oil-filled transformers and main insulation for dry type transformers, traction motors, lighting ballasts, welding and mining equipment etc. Besides, Nomex paper also provides excellent electrical insulation to improve durability and performance of EV batteries and motors without losing thermal stability.
