3 M 27 is a 0.18 mm (7 mil) thick woven insulating tape featuring a pressure-sensitive rubber thermosetting adhesive. Designed for 600-volt dry applications, it delivers high mechanical strength, high-temperature resistance, and edge tear, conformability, and abrasion resistance. The adhesive is specially formulated for corrosion protection. This tape serves as coil cover, anchor, banding, core/layer/crossover insulation, and provides heat-stable insulation for furnace/oven controls, motor leads, and switches. It is UL Recognized and printable.
