Similar electrical flexible laminate insulation to 416LAM, Nomex 464LAM is a lightweight paper type. And, it only has one thickness which is 0.05 mm (2 mil). It can be single side or double side laminated with Mylar/Polyester Film and Kapton film according to the thermal requirements of the application, and the most common construction are NM(Nomex + Mylar), NMN(Nomex+Mylar+Nomex), NK (Nomex+Kapton) and NKN(Nomex+Kapton film+Nomex).
The NMN or NKN series was constructed by high temperature adhesive system, which would not delaminate or blister under high temperatures condition, they have high dielectric strength, good initial tear strength, tensile strength, and long-term thermal stability.

Applicatiion
 

Same features with 416LAM, Nomex 464 LAM is also used by laminated with mylar film and kapton film into three-ply construction. These construction contributes high dielectric strength, good initial tear strength and tensile property and thermal stability. This laminated materials provide electrical insulation for slot liners, wedges and phases insulation motors ,transformers,welding and mining equipment etc. Besides, Nomex paper also provides excellent electrical insulation to improve durability and performance of EV batteries and motors without losing thermal stability.
