3 M 9485PC is a double-sided transfer tape suitable for indoor and outdoor use, and leverages the power of 3M High Performance Acrylic Adhesive 350. 3M 9485 has 3M 9485PC and 3M 9485EK. PC refers to the release Paper as Polycoated Kraft Paper, and EK refers to Extensible Polycoated Kraft Paper for release paper color white. 3M 9485 has very good performance for chemical resistance and shear and peel strength even at elevated temperatures. It can be applied to short term temperature exposure up to 450°F (232°C) and long term 300°F (149°C).5.0 mils (.127 mm) thick tape provides high bond to low surface energy substrates and powder coated paints. It is a fiber reinforced adhesive, a feature that is important for roll stability in narrow widths. This tape is ideal for joining materials that have rougher surfaces.
