3M Dual Lock SJ3540 is a type of 250 stem density dual lock item, which means that it has 250 stems of mushroom-shaped heads per square inch. It consists of interlocking mushroom-shaped heads that easily slide over each other. SJ3540 provides a strong, reliable and durable fastening that can be opened and closed multiple times. It has very good temperature resistance and is mainly applied for indoor use, and the strong fastener features can replace the functions of drilling, screwing or bolting. It can mates with type 170 like SJ3542 and type 400 like SJ3541 to provide different strength combinations.
It can be widely applied on general industrial attachment fixing, like logo/nameplate fixing, panels fixing, touch screen module fixing, etc.

Applications:

Type 170 is the lower density mushroom stems which need to use together with type 400 while application, type 170 is including 3M SJ3552, 3M SJ3542, 3M SJ3562.

 

Type 250 is medium density which can be used independently, and it can be easily to peel off and reclosable for thousands of times, type 250 is including 3M SJ3550, 3MSJ3540, 3MSJ3560

 

Type 400 is high density which is very hard to peel off, it's usually used for permanently fixing or used together with type 170 or type 250 to provide different strength combinations.

Type 400 is including 3M SJ3551, 3MSJ3541, 3MSJ3561
