3M 1600T double coated PE Foam tape uses white polyethylene foam as carrier coated with durable acrylic adhesive. The unique acrylic adhesive provides long term durability and excellent initial tack which is able to conform and bond to irregular surfaces or objects. With the high adhesion features, 3M 1600T Foam tape is usually used as general purpose of mounting and bonding like automotive mirror bonding, decorative trims joining, nameplates bonding, or other indoor or outdoor mounting applications,including many plastics. In addition, also possesses good shear property that provides long term holding power, even under elevated temperature and environmental conditions.
