3M 5425 is a UHMW (ultra-high molecular weight) polyethylene film tape made by 3M. UHMW-PE is a type of plastic known for its high abrasion resistance, low coefficient of friction, and good chemical resistance. This makes 3M 5425 tape ideal for a variety of applications where you need a tape that can slide smoothly and resist wear and tear from chemicals.
