Rogers Bisco BF-2000 is a type of flame retardant ultra soft silicone foam among the Bisco families. It's very high compressible, low weight and ultra softness which allow the designers to use less force to seal the enclosures while still provide protection for the devices. BF-2000 is available in thickness from 0.125 to 0.500 inch for choice, and the typical density is 10PCF. It also has excellent memory and low stress relaxation and it's usually applied by laminating adhesive tape on one side or two sides for easy application.
Rogers Bisco BF-1000 is a type of flame resistant extra soft cellular silicone foam material. The thickness range is from 0.063 to 1.0 inch. It has excellent memory and low stress relaxation, which can reduce the maintenance cost from gasket failures caused by compression set and softening. Its extra softness allows designers to use less force to seal enclosures while still protecting devices from the environment.BF-1000 silicone foam provides superior cushioning and vibration isolation in electronic components as well as automotive industry. It's also ideal for use in outdoor enclosures sealing and gasketing, it can protect the items against penetration of dust, moisture, air or light for outdoor enclosures like lighting fixtures, HVAC units and electronic cabinets.
