Product Description

Tesa 52310 52330 Plate Mounting Tape for Corrugated Postprint

Tesa® 52310 (transparent), tesa® 52315 (yellow), tesa® 52320 (white) and tesa® 52325 (light pink) are a range of tesaprint® plate mounting tapes, each of a different thickness category.

Since the specially designed adhesive does not reach its final adhesion level immediately, plates can be easily repositioned during plate mounting. Later during printing, the final adhesion has been reached, ensuring secure plate bond and no edge lift.

Tesa® 52330 is a double-sided tape of 380 μm (15 mil) thickness with a cloth backing and a rubber adhesive.
The product design makes this tape especially suitable for corrugated postprint plate mounting, where the tape is first applied to the printing plate, then the liner is removed and the plate is attached to the carrier film.

• 52310 52315 52320 52325: they all feature C backings and rubber adhesives and are equipped with a structured PP liner, which prevents the formation of air pockets during plate mounting.After printing, the tesaprint® products are easily removable and do not leave residues.

• 52330: the cloth backing provides a high degree of flexibility, facilitating easy plate mount, while the well-proven adhesive ensures a reliable yet removable bond between printing plate and carrier film.The unique liner structure prevents air trapping during plate mounting.

Applications:

The tesaprint® products can be used for various applications, e.g. plate mounting on compressible sleeves, letterpress plate mounting, or dry offset blanket mounting.
